Jack Lunt Art Exhibition @ the Downing Museum
The Jack Lunt Memorial Juried Art Exhibition began in 1987 as a collaboration between south-central Kentucky philanthropist, Jerry E. Baker and the Capital Arts Alliance. For over twenty years, the show was exhibited in the Capital Arts Center Houchens Gallery and included a wide variety of pieces from artists throughout the region. The Downing Museum is proud to host the annual exhibition and welcomes artists to submit pieces in honor of the late Jack Lunt. Drop off will be Nov 1, 2, and 3 from 12-6 pm. Pickup for artwork not accepted is Nov 7-10 from 11-4 pm. Opening reception is Nov. 12 from 4:30-6:00. Exhibition runs Nov 12 - Dec 16, 2017.

Medical Center Women in Arts
Since 1991, The Medical Center has presented the Women-in-the-Arts Exhibit that recognizes and honors the work and talent of area women artists. The 2017 exhibit will be held April 17th- May 31st at the Medical Center Health & Wellness Center. The Women-in-the-Arts Exhibit features artwork in the following categories: painting, sculpture, ceramics, works on paper, fiber works, and photography. The exhibit is open to any female artist over 18 years old residing in Kentucky.
World’s Greatest Studio Tour
In it's 21st year, The World’s Greatest Studio Tour is one of Southern Kentucky’s most exciting art events. The tour is an annual event designed to allow the public to meet our area’s leading artists, talk one-on-one, and see exciting new art works. There are several locations throughout Bowling Green and Warren County, KY and over thirty artists are involved. This unique and intimate opportunity creates free unlimited access to the artists' and their workspaces, as well as a glimpse into their creative processes.
